Corporate Social Responsibility

Creating a strong business and building a better world are not conflicting goals – they are both essential ingredients for long-term success
– William Clay Ford Jr. Executive Chairman, Ford Motor Company.

Corporate social responsibility is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. CSR policy functions as a self-regulatory mechanism whereby a business monitors and ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards and national or international norms.

We at SKD Group believe that although the world is coming closer day by day, the irony is, humans are drifting away from each other. People are forgetting about another world, where poverty, illiteracy and disease are rampant. Time has come to shed our indifference and make a concerted effort in removing these maladies from our society forever. In this never ending pursuit of prominence and prosperity, people tend to overlook the dark reality of existence of the deprived and underprivileged side of society. But, we at SKD Group (Shrenik Karnawat Developers) have never lost touch with this poignant aspect of life and consequently, have always put in our best efforts to make a positive difference in lives of people and society, at large.

“Well done is better than well said” says Benjamin Franklin. We couldn’t agree more, as paying a mere lip service and disregarding the call for action is a cardinal sin committed by many. But, the Group has always been a doer than a talker and our body of social work is a shining testimony to our commitment. We have always been at the forefront of social change and have been involved in host of causes from education of underprivileged kids to campaigning for environment protection and animal rights welfare.
